This summer, something truly exciting is brewing along Sweden’s breathtaking High Coast. Two of the country’s most acclaimed distilleries—High Coast Whisky and Hernö Gin—are joining forces in a unique collaboration: Bold Flavours from the High Coast.
Craft Meets Culture on the High Coast
Bound by a shared dedication to craftsmanship, bold flavors, and the rugged beauty of the High Coast, the two distilleries are coming together to celebrate their roots and elevate the visitor experience. This partnership isn’t just about spirits—it’s about place, passion, and people.
The Bold Flavours (Swedish: Starka Smaker) collaboration will come to life at two of the region’s biggest summer highlights: the High Coast Whisky Festival (June 27–28) and the concert series at Naturscen Skuleberget, kicking off on July 3. Expect expertly crafted cocktails infused with the essence of the High Coast—both literally and figuratively.
A Natural Match
While whisky and gin might be very different spirits, the teams behind High Coast and Hernö share a common mindset: excellence in production, pride in local ingredients, and a desire to bring people together.

Kicking Off with In Flames and Iconic Cocktails
The festivities begin with a bang on July 3, when internationally celebrated metal band In Flames takes the stage at the mountain Skuleberget. Throughout the summer, guests can enjoy signature cocktails developed by both distilleries—each sip a tribute to the dramatic cliffs, deep forests, and pure waters of the region.
“The region is buzzing with life during summer,” adds Emma Edfors, CEO of Hernö Gin. “We’re used to welcoming thousands of guests at our own venues, but now we’re excited to combine forces. With Bold Flavours from the High Coast, we aim to create moments where craft, community, and creativity collide.”
