Agitator x Charta 77 No1 Negotiate – Punk in a Bottle

The Swedish whisky distillery Agitator proudly presents a new collaboration: Charta 77 No1 Negotiate – a rebellious single malt created together with the iconic Swedish punk band Charta 77.

This is not a cosmetic rock tie-in. This is the real thing.

From the Stillhouse to the Drum Kit

By day, Tommie Fagerberg distils spirits at Agitator. By night, he sits behind the drum kit of Charta 77, one of Sweden’s most influential punk bands, formed in 1983 in Köping and named after the protest movement Charter 77.

When Fagerberg told Agitator that the band wanted to create their own whisky, the response was immediate: let it be loud, uncompromising, and unapologetic.

He was given free hands to create something truly punk. Now, it’s ready.

Charta 77 No1 Negotiate

No1 Negotiate is a defiant single malt where warm, sooty smoke meets raisins, dried fruit and spicy oak. This is not a polite whisky. It’s confrontational, expressive, and refuses to negotiate.

Nose: Sooty smoke, charred meat, raw intensity.

Palate: A raisin bomb. Rich dried fruits, heavy smoke, and a bold, punk-driven character that lingers long after the last sip.

Simply put: punk in a bottle.

A History of Bold Collaborations

The Swedish whisky distillery Agitator is no stranger to collaborative releases. Previous projects include a well-received whisky series created together with whisky blogger SamuelWhisky. For Agitator, collaborations are about exploring new expressions, new voices, and new cultural intersections.

With Charta 77, the fit was obvious: shared roots, shared attitude, and a shared refusal to compromise.

Rock On, Punks!

Charta 77 No1 Negotiate is more than a whisky.
It’s a statement.
A collaboration built on authenticity.
And proof that punk never dies – it just gets aged in oak.

Rock on, punks. 🤘🥃
